You will spend one semester at Campus Bangkok.
Industrial engineers are trained to design modern business operations. You come across the results of their work inside efficient banks, fast-food restaurants, hospitals, in advanced manufacturing plants, in telecommunications, and in the world-wide shipping industry. Theme-parks, chemical plants, airlines, oil refineries, seaports and military operations today rely on planning and design founded on the subjects of industrial engineering: business management, mathematics, physics and mathematical statistics, operations research, ergonomics and workplace-psychology, industrial economics, quality and reliability engineering and production engineering. Even small family businesses can benefit greatly from the techniques and skills of the industrial engineer.
Career
The industrial engineer - you - are just as likely to be found on ''the floor'' taking measurements to study the manufacturing processes, as together with colleagues and clients in the negotiating room finalizing a procurement contract. The breadth of your coming degree has, in the past, proven to lead to an incredible array of job descriptions. At our department, we have seen industrial engineers get jobs as quality engineers and managers, logistics engineers and managers, procurement officers, production engineers, university lecturers, customer relations managers, supplier relations liaisons, line managers, freelance quality consultants, freelance production consultants, business excellence leaders, sales and marketing officers, mechanical design engineers and many more. Now, with the added flavour of an international business orientation, we cannot wait to see how far you will go!

Learning modes
The study language is English.
Your learning is supported and guided by traditional lectures, solving realistic problems, case-studies as well as group projects that require project management, reporting, presentation and the integration of knowledge from different fields. The thesis work should be performed in an international business setting.
In the second study year one semester of studies is located to AIT, the Asian Institute of Technology, in Thailand.
